Ghost Recon 2 Cinematic Head Textures

Ghost Recon 2 has shipped for the Xbox, so I thought I’d show the work I did through Streamline Studios on the cinematics. I did the texturing for these high poly heads. Each head consist of a diffuse, bump, and spec map. Since I’ve been a game artist for so long (and used to painting in all the details), I really had to retrain myself to be much more subtle. That being said I think it’s pretty obvious which where my earlier attempts and which were done closer to the end of the project. I really had a lot of fun with these and learned a lot from the experience. Definitely something I want to do more of. I’m not sure if the modeler wants to be openly credited or not but as soon as I find out I’ll be sure to post his name and portfolio. He kicks major ass!
